A pedestrian has died after getting hit by a car
UPDATE: One person has died after being hit by a car on Old Highway 63.
The Columbia Police Department says the pedestrian who was hit is a male.
Their family has not been notified.
ORIGINAL STORY: According to Boone County Joint Communications, emergency crews are heading to a motor vehicle collision on Old Highway 63 near Hinkson Avenue, just south of Broadway.
A person has reportedly been hit.
ABC 17 News crews on scene said police have completely blocked off the road at this point as they investigate.
