Missouri GOP elects Kay Hoflander as chairman
The Missouri Republican Party has elected Kay Hoflander to be its Chairman for the next 2 years.
The organization announced Hoflander’s appointment Saturday in a news release, saying she will lead the party through the 2020 elections.
She is currently the Vice President of Hoflander Ford in Higginsville, and previously served as the committeewoman and county party chair in Lafayette County. She has also been Vice Chair of the Missouri GOP.
She said being chosen was an honor.
“Missourians have elected a historic number of Republicans at the state, local, and federal levels–entrusting the GOP with the tremendous responsibility of leading our great state,” she said in the release. “I look forward to protecting the gains we’ve made, growing our party, and highlighting the conservative agenda that is moving Missouri forward.”
Governor Mike Parson said she is a tremendous asset to the state party.
“I’m excited to work with Kay to deliver on Missouri Republicans’ promises to our citizens,” he said.
Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley also praised her appointment.
Hoflander appointed Gregg Keller as chair of the Missouri Victory Committee. Nick Myers has been named Vice Chair of the Missouri GOP.
