Westran schools close due to water main break

The Westran School District in Randolph County will dismiss at 12 p.m. on Tuesday due to a water main break in Clifton Hill.

The Thomas Hill Water District issued a 48-hour boil advisory for anyone without water, but it does not affect anyone with low water pressure.

“The Thomas Hill water district has stated this is an emergency situation,” the city said in an online statement.

The water district does not have an estimitaed time of when the issue will be fixed.
