Cunningham helps Mizzou women’s basketball roll past Georgia

The Mizzou women’s basketball team rolled past Georgia, 61-35, and held a conference opponent to the fewest points in Mizzou women’s basketball history.

The Tigers now improve to 15-4 overall and 4-1 in the SEC.

Mizzou scored 36 points in the second half, while the Bulldogs mustered up just 35 for the entire game.

Sophie Cunningham led the way with 23 points, eight rebounds and five steals. The game marked her 40th career 20-point game with the Tigers.

Amber Smith had nine points and five rebounds. Cierra Porter had eight points and five rebounds.

Next up, Mizzou heads on the road to face (21) South Carolina on Jan. 21.
