Callaway County deputies identify wanted homicide suspects
Deputies have identified two people wanted in a Callaway County homicide investigation.
According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, Ruben Corales Cabrera, 33, and Emily Ricketts, 22, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, are charged with first-degree murder.
Deputies said Cabrera is also charged with armed criminal action.
Deputies said neither Cabrera nor Ricketts has been taken into custody and both are considered armed and dangerous.
Both are accused in the deadly shooting of Lauro Garza-Perez, 33, of Columbia, in the 1500 block of Highway 40, near the Boone and Callaway County line.
Deputies found Garza-Perez dead in a parking lot of a nearby business.
Anyone with information about Cabrera or Ricketts is asked to call the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.
