Full crew working through the night to clear Columbia roads

A new shift of plow drivers reported for a 12-hour shift at 7 p.m. Friday night, according to Columbia Public Works.

Crews will continue plowing and treating priority routes as snowfall is expected to continue overnight, the city said.

Columbia Public Works also started ticketing and towing vehicles from priority snow routes at 7 p.m.

According to a news release, the vehicle owner is responsible for the towing fee and any fines.
