Boonville woman accused of assaulting her mother

Prosecutors charged a 21-year-old Boonville woman after the woman’s mother claimed she assaulted her with a knife and stun gun.

According to court documents, Rayvin Graham had been arguing with her mother about taking Graham’s infant daughter to the emergency room.

Graham’s mother told police she did not to go to the hospital, and Graham started breaking furniture and yelling at her, the documents said. Graham allegedly picked up a knife and threatened her mother with it while holding the infant.

The victim told police she tackled Graham, at which point Graham allegedly shocked the victim with a stun gun.

Prosecutors charged Graham with second-degree assault, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child.

Graham’s $25,000 bond prohibits her from having any contact with her daughter or mother.
