Feeling more like March this weekend

TONIGHT:Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 30s with clear skies. Winds will come in from the west up to 8 mph, producing wind chills in the mid 20s by morning.

SATURDAY: The weekend looks nice for early January with mostly sunny skies Saturday but increasing clouds Sunday. Temperatures warm into the upper 50s, topping out at 60 in a few spots this weekend, which is more like late March. Southwest winds will stay under 10 mph Saturday but will increase to 15 mph by Sunday evening from the south, ahead of the next cold front.

EXTENDED: Rain moves in Sunday night after midnight with temperatures staying in the upper 40s to near 50 overnight. Monday will start off wet but rain will decrease through late morning and end in the afternoon with 10″ to .40″ expected. It will still be mild Monday with highs in the mid 50s and into the lower 50s Tuesday. We’ll cool down starting Wednesday and Thursday, dropping into the mid to upper 40s which is still above average for January. Another chance of rain arrives Thursday night and Friday with colder air to follow, dropping our high temperatures back into the 30s by next weekend.
