Mizzou baseball to kick off 2023 at College Baseball Showdown

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou baseball is set to open the 2023 season at the College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on Feb. 17-19.

In the three-day event, the Tigers will play against Texas, Oklahoma State and TCU. All three of the Tigers' opponents finished the 2022 season ranked in the top 25.

"This is an incredible opportunity for our players to compete in one of college baseball's premier events and experience a first-class MLB environment. I know our fans will have plenty to look forward to in rekindling some historic rivalries dating back to the Big Eight era and beyond," said MU head coach Steve Bieser.
