Cold and dry weekend in Mid-Missouri
SATURDAY: We’re off to a cold start this morning in Mid-Missouri, and unfortunately temperatures don’t look to rebound all that much. Clouds will be filtering out of the region throughout the afternoon, but we’ll only top out in the low to mid 30s.
TONIGHT: Quiet weather will stick around heading into the overnight hours. With mostly clear skies, we cool off a bit more with lows dropping to the mid teens. Winds will stay light out of the northeast, keeping the cold air in place.
EXTENDED: Sunday looks to be much of the same with temperatures back into the middle 30s under mostly sunny skies. We will start a gradual warming trend heading into Monday. Temperatures will be topping out in the mid to upper 30s Monday and make it into the middle 40s Tuesday and Wednesday. Our next system will be moving in toward the middle of the work week and sticking around into Thursday. This active weather pattern looks to stick around into next weekend.
