Two arrested after child abduction arranged over Snapchat

Holts Summit police took a man and woman into custody after several alleged child kidnappings and one sex crime involving a child occured.

Jesse Driskill, 20 of Holts Summit, was charged in Cole County on Tuesday and Callaway County on Thursday. He is charged with three counts of child kidnapping, a felony, in Callaway stemming from incidents that happened from September to Nov. He is charged with one count of first-degree statutory rape in Cole County, stemming from an October incident.

Court documents say Driskill picked up a Holts Summit child from their house in October. Driskill had been in communication with the child for days on Snapchat, a popular private messaging phone application, days before she “ran away.”

Over the app, Driskill made arrangements to pick up the child from the child’s house. The child told police that Driskill was aware they were only 13-years-old, according to court documents.

Sarah Malki, a 30-year-old woman, let Driskill use her car to pick up the child. She is charged in Callaway County with child kidnapping.

Driskill drove the child to a home in Apache Manor Mobile Home Park in Cole County, where Malki was employed.

According to court documents filed on Wednesday, Malki “admitted to picking up and dropping off up to five different females for Driskill and (Christian Chilten) within the last few weeks.”

As of Friday, online court records show no record that Chilten has been charged.

The Cole County Sheriff’s Department has picked up at least two missing children from Apache Manor, according to court documents.

Court documents say Malki was arrested in Texas in Aug., 2011 for alien smuggling.
