No. 21 Mizzou women’s basketball gets back on track against SIUE
After an upset loss the week before, the (21) Mizzou women’s basketball team got in the win column against SIUE 59-36.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-1 on the season.
Sophie Cunningham led all players with 14 points and 12 assists. She shots 6-11 from the field while Mizzou made 45 percent of its shots. However, the Tigers shot just 23.5 percent from three.
Amber Smith and Grace Berg each chipped in 10 points for the Tigers.
Next up, Mizzou heads to Florida for the Gulf Coast Showcase. The Tigers open the tournament against Michigan Friday at 6:30 p.m.
