Man killed in Camden County work site fall
A man was killed Friday when he fell off a three-story building while working on its roof in Camden County.
The Mid-County Fire Protection District reported the death in a news release. The man, who was not identified in the release, was declared dead at the scene after he fell from the top of condominium building No. 5 at 79 Horizons Lane at about 7 a.m. Friday, the district said. The man fell about 45 feet and landed in a rocky area.
Bystanders tried life-saving measures to no avail, the district said. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office and OSHA are investigating.
