Crash near Sedalia turns fatal

UPDATE 4 a.m.: Missouri State Highway Patrol updated a crash report, stating a woman died from injuries after a crash on Highway 50 near Sedalia Friday.

Janna McQueen, 51, of Sedalia, was flown to University Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

UPDATE: According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a woman was life-flighted to a hospital in Columbia after a crash on Highway 50 in Sedalia.

Authorities said a tractor-trailer was traveling westbound when a car traveling eastbound crossed the centerline and hit the tractor-trailer head on.

Janna McQueen, 51, of Sedalia, was flown to University Hospital.

The crash report did not indicate a school bus was involved.

ORIGINAL: Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were working at the scene of an injury crash Friday on Highway 50 near Route O east of Sedalia.

The patrol told WDAF in Kansas City that the crash involved a passenger car, tractor-trailer and school bus and no one was killed in the impact.
