Another shot at snow in Mid-Missouri
SATURDAY: We’re continuing to track another cold front coming through to start our weekend. Clouds will be increasing this morning out ahead of this system with temperatures making it into the middle 40s to low 50s near further south in Mid-Missouri. Precipitation looks to hold off until the evening, with our northern counties seeing it first.
TONIGHT: Precipitation in our northern counties looks to start out as mostly rain before changing over to snow overnight. As this precipitation makes its way toward I-70 into the early morning hours, we could see more of a mixed bag of precipitation, with some patchy freezing drizzle mixing in.
EXTENDED: Waking up on Sunday we could see up to an inch of snow in our northern-most counties, and some slick spots on untreated bridges and overpasses so check the road conditions before heading out the door. Temperatures will be cooler in the afternoon, only topping out in the low to mid 30s. We finally look warmer next week as we climb into the 40s to lower 50s for highs with mainly dry weather through Wednesday. Rain chances return by the end of the Thanksgiving week and into the weekend but right now Thanksgiving looks mostly sunny and mild with highs in the mid 50s.
