Jefferson City Council approves over $5.1 million in ARPA funding
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The city council of Jefferson City approved over $5.1 million in ARPA funding for various projects across the city.
The council approved ten projects:
- $175,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for CVB Lost Revenue
- $150,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Downtown Beautification Planter Matching Funds
- $150,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Organizational Review Study Cost Set Aside
- $930,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Revenue Loss to the
- General Fund to Fund Identified Operating Expenditures
- $500,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds to Lincoln University for the Health Science and Crisis Center Project
- $200,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Police Station Elevator Replacement
- $1,000,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Missouri State Penitentiary Redevelopment Project
- $325,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for City Infrastructure and Capital Projects
- $1,600,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for the Hyde Park Burn Building
- $100,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for the United Capital City Soccer Complex Project
The city did withdrawal a bill that would authorize $455,000 of the City’s ARPA Funds for Grant Match - Police Department Body and Car Cameras. The council withdrew the bill because it was funding that ARPA would not cover.
