Two arrested on drug charges after search

Authorities arrested two people on drug charges Tuesday in Osage County after a multi-agency search.

Several area sheriff’s officers and the Missouri State Highway Patrol helped the Osage County Sheriff’s Office in making the arrest.

According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were monitoring possible criminal activity when two people with warrants, Dustin Whittle, 38, of Brumley, Missouri, and Stacy Wiesner, 36, of Iberia, Missouri, were spotted Tuesday evening leaving a residence near Osage County Road 551. According to the sheriff’s office, the pair had warrants out of Miller County for drug possession.

The two were located quickly by a highway patrol helicopter after a perimeter had been set up.

Whittle and Wiesner were being held Wednesday at the Miller County Jail on $25,000 bonds each.
