Two people shot on Ballenger Lane in Columbia
UDPATE, 8:00 p.m.: The Columbia Police Department confirmed two adult men were shot Sunday afternoon around 1:20 in the 2100 block of Ballenger Lane.
Both victims were taken to the hospital to be treated.
Officers found several pieces of evidence but at this time, there are no additional details about the evidence or suspect information due to the ongoing investigation.
UPDATE, 3:00 p.m.: Columbia police confirm two people have been shot and neither has life-threatening injuries.
UPDATE: ABC 17 News crews on scene near Arena Liquor on Ballenger Lane said there are evidence markers outside a home at 2121 Ballenger.
An ambulance and multiple squad cars zoomed out of the area and down Clark Lane as ABC 17 crews arrived around 1:45 p.m.
Ballenger Lane is currently blocked out. Neighbors told our crews that they heard several shots fired.
