Eight arrested in Callaway County drug raid

Authorities arrested eight people in Kingdom City during a drug raid Tuesday.

Callaway County deputies assisted by state and federal law enforcement officers arrested Kenneth McClure, 39, Carl Baker, 57, Shawn Buck, 20, and Triston Redmon, 20, all of Kingdom City; Marcus Spears, 37, of Fulton; Brittany Wyatte, 27, and Bruce Mason, 25, of Columbia; and Bart Rigby, 39, of Auxvasse, after searching a property in the 5500 block of Old Highway 40, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

A search turned up 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 1 pound of marijuana, firearms and drug paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office said.

McClure was arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for felony drug possession and posted a $10,000 bond.

Baker was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and posted a $4,500 bond.

Spears was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $5,500 bond.

Buck was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $4,500 bond.

Wyatte was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Macon County warrant for felony drug possession. She posted a $12,500 bond.

Mason was issued a summons on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rigby was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He posted a $1,000 bond.

Redmon was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and a Callaway County warrant for littering. He posted a $500 bond.

The sheriff’s office said further arrests and charges are possible.
