Crews reopen part of Route Z in Boone County after vehicle crash
BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Emergency crews have reopened part of Route Z east of Columbia following a crash Wednesday morning.
Boone County Joint Communications alerted drivers around 7:25 a.m. that the southbound lanes of Route Z at Interstate 70 are closed to traffic.
Firefighters at the scene said a vehicle exiting I-70 to southbound Route Z hit a woman riding a bicycle along the road. Crews took the woman by ambulance to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the vehicle wasn't hurt in the crash.
