One person injured in I-70 crash near Rangeline

Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning on Interstate 70.

It happened near the Rangeline Street exit around 2:45 a.m.

Crews on scene confirmed one person was injured, but the severity of that person’s injuries is unclear.

Two cars were involved in the crash. Both sustained heavy damage. Officials said they believed one vehicle stopped on the side of the road with a flat tire and a second vehicle crashed into it.

One person was on the ground when emergency crews arrived, they believe the person was thrown from the vehicle.
