Hallsville police looking for man after Saturday traffic stop; drugs seized
HALLSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
On Saturday at 9:07 p.m., Hallsville police pulled over a red Chevrolet Cobalt in the parking lot of Tribble Park.
Police say, Justin Martin, 24, of Columbia, was driving and got out of the vehicle and ran through the park and a resident’s yard before getting away.
Ali Taylor, 21, of Boonville, was also in the vehicle and attempting to exit the vehicle before being detained, according to a release.
Police searched the vehicle and found loaded hypodermic syringes with suspected meth, paraphernalia, and burglary tools.
Taylor was arrested and transported to the Boone County Jail. On Monday a Boone county prosecutor charged Taylor with Possession of a controlled substance.
Taylor has Clayton Alexander listed as her public defender.
Boone County Sheriff's Department assisted in trying to locate Martin but was unable to do so.
Martin was last seen wearing a grey tank top, black gym shorts with a stripe down the sides, long black socks, black and white shoes, and glasses.
Martin is believed to be armed and dangerous. Martin currently has several warrants as well as charges for resisting, property damage, possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools from this incident.
