Arrest made in connection with shooting near Club Vogue

Columbia Police responded to the 900 block of East Business Loop around 5 a.m. on Sunday to a report of shots fired.

Officers found shell casings in the area.

Andrew L. Barnette-Kruger, 25, was arrested for armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated, while in possession of a controlled substance, exhibiting a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and distribution of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Boone County Jail and his bond has not been set.
