Lanes back open after Highway 63 crash near Calvert Hill

UPDATE: One person has been taken to the hospital after the crash.

Highway Patrol troopers told ABC 17 News crews that they couldn’t provide many details right now because they were unable to speak with the driver.

Both lanes are back open.

ORIGINAL STORY: Both northbound lanes of highway 63 were blocked off Calvert Hill due to a reported crash.

Boone County join communications sent out an alert about the crash at around 10:15 p.m.

Police have since opened one of the lanes to let traffic through.

We have a crew at the scene who says traffic is backed up for at least a mile.
