Vehicle crash involving gas main forces businesses to evacuate
UPDATE 8:23 p.m.: Moberly police said Ameren UE capped the gas line.
According to the Facebook post, the fire department and Ameren will stay in the area to ensure all buildings are safe to return to normal business.
ORIGINAL: The Moberly Police Department and Moberly Fire Department are currently on the scene of a crash involving a gas main at the Little Dixie Library.
Police posted a picture of the scene on Facebook, advising residents to avoid the area.
Police said all businesses on the block have been evacuated for safety precautions.
ABC 17 News has a crew headed to the scene.
