Woman arrested for stealing lottery tickets
A woman admitted to stealing lottery tickets from her workplace on Tuesday.
According to court documents, Rosie Barnett worked at the Casey’s General Store in Centralia and was caught by video surveillance. She allegedly stole $7,756 from her employer.
The surveillance shows Barnett taking lottery tickets on multiple occasions and placing them on a clip board near the Missouri lottery display case at the business. Then, she would place them in her purse under the front counter.
Barnett is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 12.
