Social Security fraud suspected in Randolph County

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that a man was in custody on suspicion of Social Security fraud, but did not release further details.

In a brief news release, the sheriff’s office said it had worked with Moberly police, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Social Security Administration on the investigation. The suspect’s name and other details about the case were being withheld pending filing of charges, the sheriff’s office said.
