Fall looks to stick around Mid-Missouri
SUNDAY: It will be feeling like fall once again as we close out our weekend. After a bit of a cool start, temperatures will warm to the mid to upper 70s by this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine on your Sunday as well, and an easterly wind up to 10 mph.
TONIGHT: We have another quiet night in store with partly cloudy skies tonight. Temperatures won’t be quite as cool in the overnight hours as we have seen the last couple of days, dropping to near 60.
EXTENDED: This warming trend will continue into Monday as temperatures reach to near 80 degrees in the afternoon, with a spot storm chance. We’ll see another warm day Tuesday before a cold front rolls through the region, bringing a chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms. We will have enough instability and shear that we could see some of these storms on the strong side. Once this front exits Mid-Missouri, we’ll be back into the upper 60s Wednesday afternoon. We’ll see another shot of cooler air coming Thursday. Make sure you keep up with ABC 17 on air and online as this forecast continues to evolve over the next 7 days.
