UPDATE: Four people injured in Boone County crash

UPDATE 9/15: Four people sustained minor injuries in the crash on Highway 63 on Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted to exit onto Hinton Road when the vehicle collided with a concrete island and overturned, the report said.

The driver and three other people in the vehicle, including a teenager, were taken to a hospital in Columbia.

ORIGINAL: Emergency crews responded to a crash in Boone County on Friday night.

A vehicle flipped over near Hinton Road and Highway 63 around 7 p.m.

The Boone County Fire Protection District, Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were on scene.

At least two people were transported to a hospital.
