Crash near Hatton Chapel Road closes lane of traffic

A two-vehicle crash on Route E near Hatton Chapel Road caused one lane of traffic on Route E to close Thursday morning.

A pickup truck was traveling north on Route E and rear ended and side swept a mail delivery vehicle. The driver of the pickup truck was conscious, and a minor extrication was used without issue. The pickup truck driver suffered moderate injury, and the mail delivery worker suffered minor injuries.
