I-70 traffic stop reveals 20 pounds of meth

Two women were arrested last week after a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper found approximately 20 pounds of meth in their car.

According to court documents, Aquil Limyra Davis and Tyesha Ahshay Marshall were traveling from Las Angeles to Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 6. Davis was driving the rented car, and the MSHP trooper noticed the car traveling slowly on Interstate 70 near Kingdom City.

Once puled over, the women were “nervous and erratic,” according to the court documents. The trooper got permission from Davis and Marshall to search the car and found 20 pounds of meth.

Later during questioning, Davis was unable to provide information about the timeline for the trip and gave DEA agents delayed responses. She told law enforcement she was going to visit her sick grandmother but struggled to provide agents with her grandmother’s name.

During her interview, Davis told agents the car was rented by “her people,” and she was unaware of the meth located in the vehicle.

When Marshall was interviewed, she told law enforcement she and Davis had been to Columbus approximately two weeks before and that she was also unaware of the meth in the vehicle.
