Police find stolen identities in shoplifter’s car

The Lake Ozark Police Department arrested two people after it responded to a shoplifting call at a Kohl’s Department Store in the area on Sunday.

Through an investigation, police found a suspect, Tiffany Inman, had about 20 different identifications, social security numbers and fake social security cards. According to police, she admitted to stealing for a living and having people “place orders” for what they want.

Inman told police she applied for credit with some of the identifications — using some to avoid law enforcement and outstanding warrants.

Police made contact with Inman and Blaine Heimer and were able to recover the stolen items. However, after police searched the vehicle, they found used needles that tested positive for methamphetamine. The vehicle was stolen out of Springfield, and the license plate was stolen out of Kimberling City.

Inman was arrested and charged with forgery, tampering with a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of burglary tools. Her bond was set at $75,000. Heimer was also arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle, with his bond set at $25,000.
