Calm and quiet weather pattern continues for us while east coast prepares for Florence

WEDNESDAY: Expect a warm, dry day with a few afternoon clouds and high temperatures in the lower 80s as winds stay under 10 mph from the southeast.

TONIGHT: We’ll have another seasonal night as temperatures drop close to 60 degrees. Skies remain mostly clear with winds out of the southeast up to 8 mph.

EXTENDED: As high pressure aloft builds, temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 80s Thursday and into the weekend with slightly more humidity. Heat indices will climb into the lower 90s Friday which will be the more humid day of the week. We’ll pick up some afternoon clouds each day but dry weather looks to continue through the weekend. The weather for Sports Zone Football Friday looks great with clear skies and temperatures dropping from the low 80s at 7 pm to the upper 70s by 9 pm. As of now, it looks like we will hold onto dry and warm weather through the weekend with rain chances making their way back into the forecast by Tuesday of next week.
