Mizzou women’s hoops finds out SEC opponents

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball 2022-23 Southeastern Conference opponents were released Wednesday showing the 16 conference games for the Tigers.

There are two SEC teams that MU will play twice both on the road and at home in Alabama and Kentucky.

Other home games will be Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas.

On the road, Missouri will face Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and last year's national champion South Carolina.

It was also announced that the 2023 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held March 1-5 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C.

Mizzou will be returning 10 players from last season along with three newcomers in in-state freshmen Averi Kroenke and Aston Judd as well as a graduate transfer from Notre Dame in Katlyn Gilbert.

Times and dates will be announced at a later date.
