Stephens College lowers tuition
Stephens College announced Wednesday that undergraduate tuition will be reduced by $8,250 starting in the 2019-20 school year.
It’s part of the Stephens Solution College Affordability Plan, which aims to see that no student will pay more than $22,500 in tuition starting next year. The current maximum tuition is $30,750.
“We’re addressing families’ concerns about college affordability even as we maintain the exceptional academic programs that are the hallmark of a Stephens College education,” said college President Dianne Lynch.
The college said students will still have access to need- and merit-based financial aid to further reduce costs. It’s part of a nation-wide push to address issues over college affordability.
