Suspect on the run after Audrain County chase

A man is at large after a police chase and crash late Wednesday in Audrain County.

The chase started after a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper tried to pull a vehicle over near Audrain County Road 214 and Route E near Thompson and Centralia, the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. The vehicle crashed into a ditch at Audrain county roads 214 and 217 west of Northcutt Memorial Conservation Area and the driver ran.

The sheriff’s office identified the driver as Tanner Spurlock of Paris, Missouri. The office said Spurlock has been part of numerous police pursuits in the past and has an active felony warrant for his arrest.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with tips to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-392 8477.
