Man steals from Gumby’s Pizza delivery employee

A Gumby’s Pizza delivery employee was robbed while on a delivery run late Thursday night.

Police were called to an apartment building on Northland Drive where the victim said Carl Hayes tried to take the pizza without paying for it.

The victim told police he pushed Hayes away, but then Hayes tried to physically take the pizza order from his person. Hayes was able to steal some of the items from the order before the victim was able to get away.

Hayes was arrested for stealing.
