America Rescue Plan funds to help build new state crime and health lab in Jefferson City
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Gov. Mike Parson announced a new state crime and health labs in Jefferson City.
The new facility will be funded by the American Rescue Plan, it costs about $183 million.
Parson said the OneHealth and Crime Lab campus will improve government efficiency.
It will be used in a collaboration between the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Conservation and the Health Department.
