Woman injured in Moberly crash

The Moberly Police Department investigated a crash Monday morning that injured one person.

According to a news release, officers responded to the crash in the area of Route A and Route AA before 11:45 a.m.

Police said an 18-year-old woman was driving a 2002 Ford F-350 eastbound on Route A behind a 61-year-old woman who was driving a 1999 Buick LeSabre. When the Buick slowed to turn onto Route AA, the truck crashed into it, according to the release.

The 61-year-old woman was flown to Columbia to be treated.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene.
