UPDATE: No one hurt after car fires on I-70
UPDATE: Boone County fire officials confirm three cars were involved in the crash, but no one was hurt when the flames broke out.
Two of the three cars were totaled by the fire.
The Columbia Fire Department, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department and the Highway Patrol assisted in the crash.

ORIGINAL STORY: A possible vehicle collision backed up traffic on Interstate-70 for more than an hour on Sunday evening.
Boone County Joint Communications sent out an alert about a motor vehicle crash at mile marker 122 at about 5:00 p.m. That is near the Midway Truck Stop.
Our reporter said it happened in the eastbound lane of I-70.
