Week will start out sunny, warm… Rain to follow Tuesday

TONIGHT: Another clear and cool night will settle across mid-Missouri. Winds will turn out of the southeast late, steady at 3-5mph. Temps fall into the mid 60s east of HWY 63, temps closer to 70 west of HWY 63.

MONDAY: The start of our work week looks like a repeat of this weekend. Morning temps start out in the 60s. We’re also tracking the return of southeasterly winds , so we’ll notice slightly more humid conditions throughout the day. Temperatures top out in the low 90s tomorrow afternoon.

EXTENDED: We’re tracking the next wave of rain and storms approaching Mid-Missouri for Tuesday. The system has slowed a bit, with the latest data indicating rain beginning by 10am Tuesday morning. Keep the umbrella handy for the kiddos as they had back to school, though, because most of the afternoon looks to be rainy. We’ll see the rain slow down late in the evening Tuesday, with the next round arriving on Wednesday morning, with waves of rain on and off throughout the day.
