Brawl fallout: M’s place Torrens on IL; await suspensions

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Mariners have placed catcher Luis Torrens on the injured list with a left shoulder injury suffered in their brawl against the Los Angeles Angels. Manager Scott Servais didn’t have specifics on how Torrens was hurt but said he was getting additional imaging done to see the extent of the injury. The Mariners are waiting to find out who else might soon be missing for their roles in the fight. Jesse Winker was still angry a day later and acknowledged he’ll likely face a significant suspension. The fight started after Winker was hit in the second inning.
