Crews plan to install speed bumps on Sexton Road in Columbia

Columbia Public Works is planning to install speed bumps on Sexton Road next month, pending a public hearing and approval from the city council.

The department said the plan is to put the speed bumps on Sexton Road between Business Loop 70 and Providence Road.

Crews would install the bumps Aug. 7 – 9 as part of the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management program.

The project is estimated to cost $75,000. The city said it would be paid for through annual traffic calming funds.
