Seasonal day ahead, before unseasonably cool weekend
WEDNESDAY: Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will climb to near 90 in the afternoon with light northeast winds up to 6 mph. Humidity will low as dew points will only reach near 60.
TONIGHT: With partly cloudy skies temperatures will drop back into the 60s, but this time only fall into the upper 60s with a low of 68. Winds will eventually shift to the south from 4-6 mph.
EXTENDED: A cold front will move through Thursday, bringing a slight shower or t-storm chance. Showers will be widely scattered only bring in .10″ – .25″ of rain. Temperatures will stay in the mid 80s Thursday, dropping into the lower 80s Friday as night drop into the lower 60s. Below average temperatures will continue into the weekend with rain becoming more likely through the day Saturday as a storm system approaches. Periods of showers and t-storms will continue through Sunday as the area of low pressure slowly moves through. Severe storms look unlikely but we will pick up beneficial rain with the potential for a half inch to inch north of I-70 and up to 2 inches south of I-70. Temperatures will also be cooler this weekend, with high temperatures only reaching near 80 and nights in the low to mid 60s.Next week starts off with slight rain chances Monday and Tuesday and below average temperatures.
