Cooper County man dies after being hit by truck, MSHP reports say
A Cooper County man died Saturday afternoon after being struck by a truck, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports.
The report said Braden Grindstaff, 16, of Blackwater, was driving north on Highway 41 near Imhoff Drive around 1 p.m. when he went off the road.
Grindstaff struck a lawn mower first, then hit Chad Wolfe, 41, of Blackwater, the report said.
According to the report, Wolfe landed in a ditch along Highway 41.
The incident is Troop F’s 10th fatality in July and 40th for the year.
