Temperatures even out this week, Storm chances mid-week

TONIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with temperatures settling back to the lower 70s. There’s a chance that we could see some early morning patch fog develop between 5-7am, but that will quickly burn off.

MONDAY: Back to work we’re tracking a slightly cooler day as temperatures will likely top out in the upper 80s with places west of HWY 63 seeing temperatures touch 90 or a degree above. Humidities will be slighly easier to take keeping heat index values in between 94-97. Clouds build in into the afternoon with spot shower chance east of HWY 63.

EXTENDED : We’ll have a cold front push through the area late Monday night which will allow for even cooler temperatures on Tuesday along with much lower humidity values. We will see a lot more sunshine and this makes Tuesday one of the best days to get out this week. We’re going to track a series of low pressure system roll through Mid-Missouri Wednesday and Thursday bringing the chance at some much needed widespread rains across the region. Thursday even has the chance to produce some stronger storms. That’s something we’ll definitely keep an eye on for the next several days.
