After storms blew through parts of central Missouri, some residents experienced power outages.

In Boone County, about 170 customers with Boone County Electric Cooperative lost power around 1 a.m., according to the utility’s outage map.

Deputies with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department said the company has been busy through the early morning hours fixing downed lines and power outages.

At 2 a.m., the Boone County Office of Emergency Management sent a notification that there was a downed power line between the 6000 and 7000 block of Rangeline Road.

Deputies were closing the area while Boone Electric crews were on their way to fix the line.
