Fulton man pleads guilty to transporting individual across state lines for prostitution

Sanchez Monroe Walker, 31, of Fulton, pleaded guilty to transporting an individual across state lines to engage in prostitution.

In early 2015, Walker met a female victim, “FV,” at a party in Columbia, Mo. FV joined Walker and a prostitute, referred to as “CR,” in their business.

On April 9, 2015, the group went to St. Louis, Mo., and posted two ads on Backpage. After checking into a hotel, they received a request for an “outcall” in Fairview Heights, Ill.

The official release says Walker drove CR and FV across the Mississippi River to a hotel near Fairview Heights to meet with a client. When they were done, Waker drove FV and CR back to the hotel in Missouri.

Walker faces up to 10 years in federal prison without parole.
