One confirmed dead in burning car on Stadium Blvd
UPDATE – 5:00 A.M.: Officials said one person was found dead in a scorched vehicle at the intersection of Stadium and Maguire Boulevards early Monday morning.
The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Monday.
Crews told ABC 17 News the investigation is in its early stages and no identities are being revealed yet.
ORIGINAL: Columbia fire crews were called to the intersection of Stadium and Maguire Boulevards early Monday morning for a reported car fire.
Firefighters arrived to the scene just after 3 a.m. to find the sedan having run off the road and fully engulfed in flames.
