AMBER ALERT CANCELED: Missing Lenexa, Kansas girl found safe in Minnesota

UPDATE 5:48 P.M.: Rewerts-Schiavoni was found safe in Minnesota.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Lenexa Police Department is looking for 13-year-old Amber Rewerts-Schiavoni, a white girl, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair, blue eyes and wearing a black T-shirt with a “sons of anarchy” logo, black jeans and carrying a shiny blue billfold. Police believe she is in imminent danger.

The possible suspect is 23-year-old Deshon White, a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair, and unknown colored eyes.

On 07/04/2018 at 2:00 p.m., Rewerts-Schiavoni was last seen leaving her home in Lenexa, Kansas near 77th and Quivira with White.

Rewerts-Schiavoni told a parent that she was walking to Oak Park Mall at 95th and Quivira in Overland P.ark

On 07/04/2018 at approximately 7:50 p.m., the pair may have left on a Greyhound to the greater Minneapolis area or may still be in the Kansas City metro area.

The Lenexa Police Department believes that Rewerts-Schiavoni, who was 12 years old at the time of her disappearance, had been coerced by the 23-year-old suspect.
